Candy Packages

In anticipation of going to France, I've been super busy getting ready and making sure I have a list of everything I need to get done before next Thursday. Time has whipped by and soon we'll be on our way! One of the to dos on the list was to get rid of a bunch of candy I had from Halloween and use it to make cute Christmas packages for some kids of Angel's friends. I had some cellophane and Christmas bells leftover from last Christmas so all I needed was some ribbon.

Here's how it turned out. I love them, but I have no idea how I'm going to pack them without the candies getting smashed. I may just have to put them in a messenger bag that will be a carry on luggage. Hmmm...

ooooh! Pictures!

If you're going to Paris and visiting the Louvre and are really tired afterward, as you exit the Louvre facing the Tuileries, on Rue de Rivoli there's a hot chocolate shop called Angelina's. Best hot chocolate ever! It's like pure liquid chocolate and not that crappy cocoa powder we get here. A pot of hot chocolate and a brioche set me back 2.15 euros back in 2003. Don't know how much it'd cost now but just a tip!

Have fun!

TF - I'll be flying into Paris first then a town outside of Lyon. We're staying there for a while before going to Cuneo, Italy and then Marseille. Then back to Lyon before we come home! Eek!! I can't wait. It's coming up very fast though.

WC - Thanks for the tip! I will try to make it to this hot choco shop since it'll be the perfect remedy for the cold weather there. I'll tell my "tour guide" about this.
